Behind the Design

Cullens & Co., formerly known as Kathryn Cullens Home is a boutique design firm that was founded in 2014 by Katie Cullens. Cullens & Co. specializes in space planning, kitchen, bath, and cabinetry design (built-ins, laundry, pantry, mudrooms etc.).

Katie, a former ER nurse graduated from the University of Georgia. Growing up, Katie could often be found on job sites with her father, which instilled a passion for design from a young age. Katie worked for Card Group Properties and Studio Entourage while going back to school for kitchen and bath design in Atlanta. Katie works with many different vendors, builders, architects, and interior designers. She uses her creative and technical skills to develop beautiful, functional spaces for her clients to enjoy.

Katie was recently honored as one of Atlanta’s 2021 Faces of Design for Modern Luxury Magazine.

Katie is a member of ASID and NKBA, which keep her up-to-date with the latest kitchen and bath design trends.

Katie is married with three school age children currently living in Charleston, South Carolina. She is loving the low country life and is excited to expand her business here after a recent move from Atlanta. Cullens & Co. travels for projects.
